Matinee Songs and Stories

Featuring:

Geoff Arsenault
With a Tony Joe White vocal style, and guitar work reminiscent of JJ Cale, Geoff is sure to captivate you with a deep roots vibe that is undeniably his own. Come out and listen to this Blues/Roots gem.

Cheryl Gaudet
Born in Middleton, Cheryl Gaudet has shared the stage with some of Canada’s finest, including Valdy, Bruce Guthro, Laura Smith and Ian Thomas. She delivers her original songs, reminiscent of ’70s folk/rockers, with rhythmic guitar, harmonicas and earthy vocals. This will be Cheryl’s first performance since receiving a life-saving kidney transplant in August and she’s thrilled to be returning to her roots!

Special guest Lorne Allan
Lorne is relatively new to the area but has already endeared himself to the local music scene. Expect a folk, blues/rock writing style depicting the complexities of relationships and the human condition.

Hosted by Mark Bezanson

Mark’s music is a mix of blues, pop, jazz and folk that combine elements of Sting, John Mayer, and David Wilcox. As a performer you can expect a big man with a big voice who sings with a joyful, relaxed style.
